Record-Play provided expert music supervision and sync licensing services for Google’s Your Favorite Things campaign — a creative reimagining of My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music.

Tasked with clearing the original Julie Andrews recording, we navigated complex rights negotiations, union approvals, and sync licensing challenges to secure this iconic track. To elevate the campaign further, we commissioned contemporary cover versions from Jay Prince, Empress Of, and Tasha the Amazon, giving the project a fresh, modern sound while honouring its classic roots.

Seen by millions globally, this project is a perfect example of how smart music supervision and strategic sync licensing can bring timeless music into the digital age.
