Record Play crafted the emotionally rich soundtrack for Viaje de Fin de Curso, capturing the energy, tension, and nostalgia of students quarantined in a Mallorca hotel during their graduation trip. The 17-track selection blends Latin-pop, early 2000s anthems, and Clara Aguilar’s original score—mirroring the characters’ journey from carefree celebration to emotional depth.

Starting with joyful, carefree beats and progressing into layered, reflective resonance by the end, the music selection showcases the cultural context from 2021 when many teenagers were denied some of the most relevant years of their lives.  Complex negotiations secured key tracks, spanning from independent artists (e.g. Carla Frigo’s “Entro En El Party”) to global superstars (Sia, Charli XCX), ensuring cultural and emotional breadth within the film’s sonic arc. Working on Viaje de fin de curso: Mallorca offered Record Play a unique opportunity to shape a richly layered soundtrack with high‑energy celebration, social critique, and emotional authenticity that echoes the film’s narrative pulse. This project joins our work on Red Flags and Fanático in pushing music supervision into emotionally resonant storytelling.
